Manchester Baptist Serves Migrant Families: Cookies, Ice Cream and the Gospel
Tuesday evening, September 29th, volunteers from MBC shared the Gospel and enjoyed home baked cookies (thank you Lori Kling) and ice cream with the Migrant Workers at Bonnie Brae Farm. Manchester Baptist partners with Christian Aguilar and Ximena Suarez and the Fruitbelt Farmworker Christian Ministry to serve these men and women.

The men work nine hours straight, each day, with only taking short lunch breaks, filling many boxes of apples. The workers come from many countries, legally, and leave their families to do this work. By sharing with them we are able to show them appreciation and that we love them. Man was created in God’s image and placed in the garden the same as they are placed here, in the orchard, to care for it.
By sharing God’s Word with these men, when they go back home, many share the Gospel with their families and friends.
