When disaster strikes, trained volunteers make the difference. BCM/D Disaster Relief equips ordinary people to bring help, hope, and the love of Christ to communities in crisis.
Disaster Relief Training at First Baptist Church, Upper Marlboro – March 14, 2026
Classes offered:
- Introduction: Everything you need to know about why and how DR does what it does.
- Feeding: Learn to safely prepare and serve large quantities of food in the event of a disaster.
- Flood Recovery: Receive training in mud-out, debris removal, tear-out, and safe work practices with a strong emphasis on situational awareness.

This training will include classes on Damage Assessment, Administration, Safety, Flood Recovery, and Feeding.
ServSafe Training at Redland – Signups – Redland Baptist Church
- Food handler 2.5 Hr. Course – March 15
- Food handler 2.5 Hr. Course – March 22
- ServSafe Manager – Split Class (2) 4 Hr. Courses – April 25 and May 2
- Must attend both to be a ServSafe manager, unless only testing
- Test only must attend Day 2
