We welcome Pastor Jim McCaffrey as the MMBA’s new Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant.

Jim is pastor of Gunpowder Baptist Church and has served there since February of 2017. Jim’s pastorate is a bi-vocational position, and this MMBA role fits well with Jim’s skills and his schedule.  Previously Jim served in other churches as a Lead and Assistant/Associate Pastor, as well as a teacher in a Christian school. Jim is active in our association, is involved in our Manchester Pastor’s Roundtable, and serves as an instructor at the Judson Education Center, which is one of our MMBA ministry partners. Jim is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Quickbooks, Planning Center and WordPress. He was a bookkeeper before becoming a pastor, and in his previous church positions, he served in various administrative roles including website development and maintenance, IT, social media management, membership tracking, accounts payable, general ledger and payroll administration.

Jim and his wife Sarah have five girls and are currently foster parenting three other children. He enjoys playing his guitar and drums as well as spending time with his family.

Again Jim, we welcome you aboard – we look forward to working with you through the MMBA!
