BCMD’s April Teaching Round Tables

Home  /  Uncategorized  /  BCMD’s April Teaching Round Tables

As we continue to journey through this uncertain time known as the COVID-19 era, please remember that you aren’t alone in the challenges you face in leading your church.  We’re all in this together, and the BCMD is here to help in any way we can.  Please feel free to reach out if there’s any way we can help.

One way we want to try and help is by equipping our Bible teachers with solid training.  At perhaps no time before has that need been greater.  And perhaps at no time before has the opportunity been more available. In that regard, we WILL host the scheduled April Roundtables, although we will transition them to an online format.

This training is not only for pastors, but for anybody who teaches the Word of God.  So, invite your Sunday school teachers, small group leaders, discipleship leaders, and anybody who teaches the Word of God to join us.  You can learn more about this opportunity at www.bcmd.org/roundtable.

Our April event will focus on teaching the Jewish holidays with consideration given to their application to the present Christian era. This event will be a combination of online viewing and joining a live zoom session.  Dr. Dominick Hernandez, our instructor, an Old Testament professor at Southern Seminary, will be providing us with links to the teaching.  Those who register will be sent a link to the teaching time.  There will be a link for the teaching in both English and Spanish.  You can view these at your convenience prior to the scheduled zoom session for which you register.  You will also be provided with a link to the zoom session for which you register. IMPORTANT – the link you receive will be for the zoom session for which you register.  If you try to use it for one of the other sessions, it will not work.  You will then sign in to the zoom session for an hour and a half Question and Answer session and live interaction with Dr. Hernandez.

Go to www.bcmd.org/roundtable to register.  These zoom sessions will be as follows:

Thursday, April 23 – session in English from 7:00 – 8:30 PM

Friday, April 24 – session in Spanish from 9:00 – 10:30 AM

Saturday, April 25 – session in English from 9:00 – 10:30 AM
